Is there a fee to join the BG Solar Network?
Joining the network and the initial qualification process is free for all participants. BG charges a facilitation or success fee when a project match results in an executed contract. The specific structure is discussed during your onboarding conversation — there are no upfront hidden costs.
How does BG vet EPC companies and execution partners?
Sandip personally reviews all partner applications. Our vetting looks at: completed project portfolio and scale, team and manpower capacity, financial stability indicators, client references, geographic coverage, and the founder's credibility and intent. This is a qualitative process — we look for serious operators, not just any company that applies.
How is this different from a tender platform or online marketplace?
Online platforms match on paper — names and numbers. BG matches on understanding. We know what makes an EPC company actually reliable at scale. We know what project owners actually need beyond price. We facilitate introductions with full context on both sides, stay involved post-introduction, and provide execution monitoring when needed. We are a consulting-led connector — not an algorithm.
What geographies does the BG Network cover?
We operate pan-India with a current focus on Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh — states with significant large-scale solar project activity. The network is expanding. Is my project or company information kept confidential?

When we make an introduction, we brief both parties independently before bringing them together — you control what is shared and when. Our reputation is built on trust, and that starts with confidentiality.

Yes — and in fact, many of our consulting clients benefit from both.
